It's been a while since we've heard anything about Robotoki's progress on its post apocolyptic survival title, but in a joint announcment with Crytek over the weekend, the indie studio announced that the game is now being built on CryEngine for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and mobile platforms.

Robotoki is the Los Angeles-based studio founded by former Call of Duty figurehead Robert Bowling upon his departure from Infinity Ward back in 2012.
"The ambitious narrative and gameplay of Human Element required an innovative set of features in order to achieve our vision.” remarked Bowling, Robotoki's President and Creative Director. "CRYENGINE is the perfect fit for us because it delivers so many powerful features straight out of the box such as the physical based shading system and the infinite terrain from segmented worlds to create a massive open world experience but still allow the visual fidelity and detail our players expect from a first person experience from our team."
On his still heavily-followed Twitter account, Bowling indicated that PC is the game's primary platform, and due in 2015, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions not yet dated, and the mobile version being designed as a "secondary" experience.
