While we await a more official press release, Respawn Entertainment boss Vince Zampella has given the greenlight that we can now expect Australian local servers for their recently launched mech FPS tomorrow morning local time.
"Aussie servers coming online, starting Friday morning and building capacity each day! Combined EA/MS/Respawn effort to make it happen!," says the fresh tweet, putting it just in time for our local release of the game this morning. At this time players are being pushed to use the closest server geographically to Australia, which is the Singapore Azure datacentre. This has caused pings to sky-rocket to a minimum of 160, making it impossible to play in such fast-paced gameplay.
Zampella didn't reveal where exactly the servers will be physically located, however we expect to have more details leading up to the launch tomorrow morning.
Titanfall is now available on PC and Xbox One, with an Xbox 360 version coming sometime next week. Find our thoughts on the new mech-filled FPS in our recent review.
