Mercury Steam is back once again with their classic Castlevania series, this time reintroducing the bloodthirsty Dracula at somewhat of a weaker standpoint. Facing a new and powerful threat, the vampire lord must reacquire his old powers and only his castle holds the key. Of course, these kind of things aren't going to be easy.

To help see the way of the darkness is our own Bennett "GunSlingerAUS" Ring, who finds out that this isn't exactly the best entry in the Castlevania series.
It’s a tragedy to see Lords of Shadows 2 arrive in this form. Rather than focus on what made the first game so much fun, the designers seem to have totally misunderstood what gamers wanted from the sequel, and delivered something that was utterly alien to the first game.
Find out just what Dracula really gets up to in the full Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 review.

Patrick Stewart has a sexy man-voice

That is true, but at the same time it was somewhat distracting in Oblivion that the Emperor of Tamriel was Captain Picard.

Was the first game critically panned? Thought it was well received by most except old-school Castlevania fans. I preferred it over GOW.

Nice review, though. I played the demo and won't bother with the full game.

I loved the first game. An 83 on metacritic, I know I gave it an 8.5 for GameArena.

Oh wells, haters gon hate.

This game is a bit of a turd though. I played it for a couple of hours before abandoning ship. It seems to think it's metal gear solid or something. I was skipping cutscenes only to start another cutscene.
