Electronic Arts has announced that a new EA SPORTS FIFA World Cup game will be making its way exclusively to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will be taking place in Brazil alongside its real world counterpart.

The title boasts a number of improvements over its predecessors, including an all new World Class Control system that "includes additional dribbles and flicks." Players can also use the D-pad now to command their teammates, striking from set pieces and corners.

For the game modes, you'll get the chance to participate in the "Road to the FIFA World Cup", allowing you to qualify from any of the 203 National Teams and proceed on to the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Other modes include the Road to Rio de Janeiro, Captain your Country, Story of Qualifying and more.

If soccer football is your kind of sport, then head over to the official website to see all the new features in detail, and check out the announcement trailer below. EA Sports 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will be available on April 15th exclusively for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with no signs of any other platforms getting the sports treatment.

That's nice and all....but it's not quite the same as having a dedicated product to the WC with all the qualifying modes, additional animations, new moves etc etc

Some people couldn't give a flying f#$% about FUT
