Square Enix has today announced that their third title in the hack-and-slash series Drakengard will finally be making its way to PAL territories come May 21st, though only as a downloadable title.

"Drakengard 3 is set before events in the original game, and six goddess-like sisters known as Intoners have brought peace to the Earth with their power to manipulate through song," wrote Phil Elliott on the Square Enix blog.

"But, as you can probably guess, this harmony doesn’t last – the elder sister, Zero, attempts to murder her siblings with help from the dragon Mikhail, and it’s your job to find out just what’s going on. Can you unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions? And can you do it without looking on the internet??"

Drakengard 3 will be available exclusively to PlayStation 3 come May 21st. You can check out the opening cinematic below for a look at what to expect.
