Hollywood actor Zachary Quinto, best known for his work as Spock in the newest Star Trek reboots and Sylar from hit television show Heroes, will be starring in Fox International's sequel to the Hitman movie, Agent 47, according to Deadline.

Agent 47 is the follow-up to 2007 film Hitman, which was based on the video game series of the same name by developer IO Interactive. Revolving around the character Agent 47, who was brought up as a trained assassin, the film was considered a financial success, grossing more than $99 million worldwide after being made with a budget of $24 million.

Quinto will be casted alongside Rupert Friend, who will be taking up the roll as Agent 47 himself. Friend has appeared in films like Pride and Prejudice, Cheri, Day One and Starred Up. Filming is expected to begin in March.
