Edge of Reality's new free-to-play shooter Loadout goes live on Steam's free-to-play service today, hoping to please its players with the vast amount of weapon customisation that the title has to offer.
Our robust and modular Weaponcrafting system allows players to make their own weapons from a wide variety of weapon parts, and then modify their entire arsenal to suit their play style. There are no defined classes in Loadout. You define your own class through the weapons you create.

Loadout is also loaded with over-the-top comedic violence, stylish character models, and crazy player animations. We aim to add a fresh, new look to the shooter experience that gives players a full-adrenaline rush that is totally different from the vast array of modern combat titles. From our hilariously gory damage system, to our wacky character customizations, Loadout will appeal to the lunatic in us all. But don’t let the demented humor fool you. At its core, Loadout is a skill-based shooter that’s easy to learn, but hard to master.

Yeah, it will default to Aussie when you log in.

Hopefully the servers will be full, now that the game has launched :D

Weapon parts are unlocked by playing and earning in-game currency. Cosmetic items, taunts and additional loadout/weapon slots are unlocked with real money.

If that's the case, I'm going to give this a shot. I have no problem supporting games that are F2P if the paying bit is for cosmetics.

I had a couple of games, but today for some reason the aussie servers disappeared.
It's ok, hasnt grabbed me though, dont feel the need to go back again and again.

I had the same problem Trex, Managed to jump on today for a few rounds. Apparently there have been problems with the matchmaking, hence the long wait times.

Played a few rounds last night, jumped in just then and it was quick to find a server. Gosh this game is addictive, so over the top and hilarious.
