The forthcoming cyborgs, ninjas, and zombies action game Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is being developed in an unorthodox manner across three international independent studios, the California-based Spark Unlimited, and Japanese developers Team Ninja and Comcept.

A new developer diary trailer for the game was released today, with various members of all three teams, including industry legend and Megaman creator Keiji Inafune, discussing the multi-cultural influences on the game's design and the benefits of East meets West developer collaboration (thanks Siliconera).
