If you don't like wrestling, you can surely still appreciate the need for its videogame outlet to get with the times. Yes the 'sport' is largely 'fixed', but as any aficionado will tell you, that's not the point.

We saw, with alarming clarity, just what taking your series into "next-gen" can mean with Visual Concepts' NBA 2K14 for PS4 and Xbox One. With 2K now behind the wheel of the WWE series and the technical and design competence of Visual Concepts, it's time the WWE soap opera was given a new lens filter -- one to bring it into the modern age of gaming, and one that could potentially help it reach new audience heights.

Paul "Hoops" Houlihan knows this, and put his educated and passionate thoughts to digital paper for a feature about retiring the old WWE videogame guard, to bring in the new.
