After being one of the first game developers to garner more than $3 million in public funding, Double Fine - creators of Pyschonauts, Brutal Legend and Costume Quest (among more) - has finally released the first part of their point-and-click adventure game, Broken Age.

Following the lives of two but seemingly intertwined characters, Double Fine has brought together a very interesting take on a genre that they are well known for thanks to their previous work. To help us on this adventure in the first of two parts is our regular reviewer Dylan "GameBoffin" Burns, so follow on for a look at his thoughts on one of many Kickstarter projects soon to come.
The presentation is beautiful and unique, as are the settings and characters. The puzzles are the weakest parts, with a stripped-back interface that offers little beyond combining things and using them on people and specific spots.

It's pretty awesome to play an adventure game again. It's super pretty and super funny. It's not very hard, but that's okay with me - I don't have hours to spend trying all different combinations of things.

You want an excellent Adventure/RPG.

Try Tome 4. An excellent, very creative game with lots of variations and awesomeness. O and it's free.
