Activision has unveiled their official PC specifications for upcoming multi-platform title Call of Duty: Ghosts, showcasing a further push that x64-bit operating systems will be the way to go come future gaming on PC.
Interestingly Ghosts is requiring the need for a minimum of 6GB RAM to enjoy the new features from Infinity Ward, a large jump that might leave some behind in the dust. It is unclear whether the game will actually use the full 6GB of RAM, but its definitely nice to see further technology pushes.
For Call of Duty: Ghosts' minimum requirements you'll be looking at a whopping 50GB hard drive space, at the least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti or ATI Radeon HD 5870 and for CPUs an Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ.
With the recommended requirements Activision only ask for a GTX 780 or ATI equivalent, offering up 3GB of VRAM for the game to play with. Is your computer ready?
