For those that haven't yet played Treyarch's latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Activision is offering a free multiplayer weekend for Steam users on PC alongside a double XP weekend.

The first-person shooter's free weekend runs through until 6 a.m. Monday, May 13, with a 33 percent discount also on offer putting it at $60.29. According to the game's official Twitter, the double XP weekend is set to begin on May 11 and finish up on May 14 for all platforms including Wii U.

Tried this last time they had a free weekend. Totally pathetic. S***** graphics (dunno if they were low res to make the game download smaller), laggy ass games and the lobby between games was terrible. It had a counter that would reset if somebody left the lobby so often you would sit in the lobby over and over as the counter reset.

Id consider buying it if it were around the $30.00 mark. They are having some dream time if they think Im paying that much for a now (AFAIC) dated game. At least valve does't charge unrealistic amounts of money for their repackaged products.
