Surrender@20 has revealed a leaked art asset from Riot Games' League of Legends title, featuring the 'Gun Templar' who looks to be utilising two highly lethal pistols. The image has been floating around the game's general forums according to the website, and it is currently unknown whether this new character will be the next champion for the free-to-play MOBA.
The Gun Templar is apparently being referred to as Lucian, however Surrender@20 makes note that the image "doesn't display this name anywhere" so it could just be a nickname for now. The art has been signed by Eoin Colgan, an artist who has previously worked on other assets for Riot. Colgan revealed on his official Twitter that he could "neither confirm nor deny such leaky business", referring to the leaked art asset.
The last champion to be introduced to League of Legends roster was Lissandra the Ice Witch, which put the roster count up to 113. Hopefully we'll hear some more official news on this interesting Gun Templar but until then check out the art below.
In related League of Legends news Riot has also unveiled a new behind-the-scenes video for their recent Freljord, showing off the making of Freljord music which you can check out below as well.
