Batman: Arkham Origins is already facing an uphill with punters. Not only is the game not being handled by the proven lads at Rocksteady, it's allegedly overlooking Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman and will include a multiplayer mode. All factors that are cause for alarm. That doesn't mean, however, that we're not anticipating what's already looking pretty schmick, as this new batch of screens attests to.

Not much new here: we still no that Black Mask is the game's main villain and that the tale takes place early in Batman's crime-fighting career and on a snowy Gotham Christmas Eve, no less.

Click the thumbnails below for a closer look. Batman: Arkham Origins is due for current-gen platforms this October. Stay tuned for more as it becomes available.
