Speaking with official Xbox Magazine UK, Bethesda vice-president Pete Hines hinted at a new reveal this year, expecting many to "sit up and take notice". While Hines was very tight-lipped on the subject, he did mention that "people will get really excited about when they hear what we're up to".
"I think you'll hear us making considerably more noise this year than we did last year, as a publisher," he said. "Obviously the Elder Scrolls Online is out and we've got the Dishonored DLC, but we will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we're up to, that you'll sit up and take notice."
Hines also revealed that the teams at Bethesda are continuing to push the boundaries in various ways, ensuring they find "really smart, passionate teams who know what they're doing and have an idea that they really want to do and do well."

While it isn't known exactly what Bethesda could have up their sleeve, recent rumours are pointing to a possible Fallout 4 thanks to Fallout 3 Three Dog voice actor Erik Todd Dellums tweeting "there may be more of ThreeDog coming! Fingers crossed!" Adding to these rumours was also a filing by Bethesda for a "Fallout TV" trademark, however, nothing official has been revealed.

Other titles that this announcement may visit could be a Dishonored sequel, a proper revealing of the recently revised Doom 4 or the bordering-vapourware Prey 2 title. Let us know in the comments what you would like to see Bethesda announce.

please reinvent your engine.

It's f*****g atrocious and then you build what is the most substantial world behind it which is at odds with the fact that the player never feels like anything more than an avatar roughly shoved into a 3d model of a novelists fantasy.

I swear anything that bethesda has fantastic depth, amazing story and replayability (through deep deep worlds) but then ruin it on purely the disconnect between the computer and person. I jump, my avatar makes no jumping animation. I walk, my feet move 1/2 the speed the world under my feet move.. I sidestep and my character with legs in splits/mid-walk position stops animation until i hit the ground.

It's so exaggerated how bad the engine is because the depth of world/characters/choices/sidequests/etc is so full and complete that the engine's shortcomings just break the player away from feeling immersed in a complete world (if not universe) purely because his physical keyboard/controller is about as gumby as a $5 remote control helicopter from a sideshow fair flown in the wind.
