The very retro and very neon-styled '80s title Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has been accidentally unveiled according to a recent listing on Xbox.com, bringing with it details that the title will be standalone and coming out as early as May 1st. With a "VHS era vision of nuclear future," the standalone title will also see the addition of Michael Biehn, known for his roles in Terminator, Aliens and Navy Seals.
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is THE Kick-Ass Cyber Shooter taking place on a bizarre open-world island crawling with evil. Welcome to an 80's VHS vision of the future. The year is 2007 and you are Sargent Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando who's fighting against a cyborg army gone rogue. Your mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world. Experience every cliché of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons, mutants, and Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals) collide. Playing Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon doesn't require a copy of Far Cry 3.
It is currently unknown how exactly Blood Dragon will fit into the story of the original Far Cry 3 story, however official details on pricing and availability shouldn't be too far away.

Wow, i bet by making it stand alone they justify charging much more than if it was a DLC.

If it has Michael Biehn and 80s Brad Fidel-inspired synth, I'd pay $800000 (not really, but the prospect of this one is pretty good, and I'm a huge fan of sci-fi from the 80s)

As long it's a whole new game and not just a DLC overlay, i don't mind paying full game price.
