EA has revealed that the co-op demo previously announced last week is now available for the two-player cooperative title Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. The demo is available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will feature the two main protagonists Alpha and Bravo.
In the demo, players will step into the boots of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo as they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped politician while diffusing an additional hostage situation. From the bottom floor of a dangerous drug lab, to the rooftops of a sky rise, Alpha and Bravo must infiltrate the Cartel's stronghold and overcome hordes of cartel members, all the while working together to survive. With the lives of others on the line, the dynamic duo will need to split up as one player runs into battle face-to-face with their opposition, while the other takes to the sky in a helicopter to man a mini gun and provide cover.
Last week we also saw that the new Overkill feature will be available in the co-op demo so keep an eye out for that.
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 26th.
- The reworked overkill feature is pretty good and gory. - Weapon customisation is a cross between the first and second game. - Cover destructibility makes you do a bit more moving around the field of play but also allows you to force the bad guys to do the same.

Overall I liked it.
