Overkill Software, the Starbreeze Studios subsidiary behind the 2011 co-operative robbery game Payday: The Heist, has formally unveiled PAYDAY 2, upping the ante with over thirty new heist scenarios.
Payday 2 promises much more polish than the original game, and according to a fact sheet list obtained by
VG247 will feature an AI Director (like Left 4 Dead), dynamic scenarios, persistent weapon modifications and character upgrades, and four class professions: Mastermind, Enforcer, Ghost, and Technician. They also have seven of the
first screenshots, or you can watch the teaser trailer below.
Payday 2 is due in 2013 for a digital download release on Steam, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade.
