While nothing has been officially announced yet by Gearbox Software, a new trailer has been teased at this years SXSW Interactive Festival (via Polygon) for the loot-filled FPS Borderlands 2 of what looks to be a new playable Vault Hunter, marking the sixth addition.

Currently it is unknown who exactly the new Vault Hunter will be, however the trailer points to a possible experiment-gone-wrong character who has seemingly escaped from some sort of prison. A vague outline offers what could be a possible cybernetic character who focuses on melee. "Deep beneath Pandora, an experiment has escaped," the trailer exclaimed. "Bandits beware, a new Vault Hunter is coming. More mayhem awaits."

Hopefully we'll hear more of the new Vault Hunter soon, but until then all we can do is wait and see.
