Continuing the co-op announcements, EA has announced a new demo will be making its way to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users on March 12th for upcoming two-player cooperative title Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel.
In the demo, players will step into the boots of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo as they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped politician while diffusing an additional hostage situation. From the bottom floor of a dangerous drug lab, to the rooftops of a sky rise, Alpha and Bravo must infiltrate the Cartel's stronghold and overcome hordes of cartel members, all the while working together to survive. With the lives of others on the line, the dynamic duo will need to split up as one player runs into battle face-to-face with their opposition, while the other takes to the sky in a helicopter to man a mini gun and provide cover.
EA also revealed that the new Overkill feature will be making its debut in the co-op demo, alongside the usual explosions and destruction.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 26th. Check out the new trailer below titled 'Speak of the Devil' for a glimpse at a new enemy of the duo team.

Looks great, but the first Army of Two has no servers left on the internet and is essentially useless. This saddens me greatly and I hope they don't turn of the auth servers for this one after 3 years.

The first one was good for $20 or some crap that I paid for it. Played it split screen with a friend, think I would have been bored to death without a friend to play with. The taunting was a nice touch, the co-op seemed forced to me, like putting in a big step just so you can use the 1 time feature of boosting your friend up. Really can't see myself buying a play once game like this.

Looking forward to this. A mate and I played the hell out of the other two games.

We would set ourselves challenges - pistol and light armour only

or base gun no modifications, no grenades

Was a lot of fun.
