Trion Worlds has unveiled new Steam pre-order details for upcoming MMO Defiance, an ambitious transmedia collaboration with TV channel Syfy. Following in the footsteps of previous pre-order titles like the recent Tomb Raider, Defiance will offer three separate tiers of rewards with each one being unlocked the more people pre-purchase.

Hunt alone or with others as you improve your skills and unlock powerful modern and alien weapons that will help you survive the massive battles that await in this constantly evolving online world. Immerse yourself in the world of Defiance as the game impacts, and is impacted by, the Defiance TV series.

On offer for the initial base offer is a beta invite, three day XP boost, an Outlander outfit, an in-game title and a Steam exclusive sniper rifle weapon. The first tier reward will offer players a Steam exclusive title, five extra inventory slots and a A-Tex Growler vehicle. The second tier is a copy of Trion World's other MMO, Rift: Storm Legion plus previous tier rewards. The third and final reward tier will offer players a lock box, another five additional inventory slots, a seven day XP boost, a discount off the Season Pass and a RM Nomad M4 exclusive vehicle.

If this wasn't enough pre-order incentive Trion Worlds has also got a Digital Deluxe Edition on offer which gives a range of in-game items including more boosts, more weapons and more inventory spaces then you can handle.
