More developers and publishers of heavily guarded and protected IPs should take note of Ubisoft's newest DLC drop for Assassin's Creed III, which takes the media polarised product and flips its narrative foundation on its head in an interesting "what if?" scenario.

In The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy, the US' beloved first president actually opts to make America a monarchy that he will rule with an iron fist (or white glove, whichever). Obviously the only person who can thwart his evil ways is Connor who will need to turn deeper to his Native American roots to draw upon ancient powers and do what he does best.

The content will be split into three releases, the first of which we've reviewed for you right here.

Ugh, hopefully they tried to make Connor a little less flat in this. He's been a real bore so far.
