For the comic book fans out there (such as myself), the newest batch of screenshots and concept art from High Moon Studios' forthcoming Deadpool videogame are a shining light on the direction of the game.

The Merc with a Mouth will be dealing with X-Man, Cable, in his solo videogame foray, as well as Death, and a few pieces of concept art also show off environmental designs for Genosha -- a famous city in X-Men comic book circles -- which looks to be littered with Sentinel debris everywhere.

All of this points to the team being very heavy in delivering a reverent game, and gives me hope they're on the right track with Deadpool, a game known only to be releasing some time this year.
