Gearbox Software has revealed a new trailer depicting the multiplayer side of their upcoming sci-fi horror Aliens: Colonial Marines, detailing the various tactical decisions players will make while playing.

Showcasing the various guns that the marines will be able to use to combat the Alien life forms, the trailer also reveals several different types of Aliens that players can control, including the monstrous Crusher class which looks to be capable of withstanding a few bullets.

Check out the trailer below, this time not featuring any form of dubstep or corny drill sergeant-style dialogue. Aliens: Colonial Marines is due on February 12th 2013, on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a Wii U version yet-to-be-dated.

I think they probably should have stopped releasing footage a while ago and hoped people bought it on a name or some such.

I played the game late last year, I found it pretty boring, however my nephew and his friend enjoyed it (they are young...)

How did this game go from looking awesome to looking so severely dated graphics-wise in the space of a few months?

Obviously graphics aren't everything and I think it still has the potential to be really fun, but some of those animations are practically slideshows.

I don't remember it ever looking awesome, it always looked pretty lame and uninspiring, even from the first videos. I remember ages ago when they showed off the first gameplay video, there was a thread about it here where we were all talking about how crappy it looked and hoped the finished game would be better.
