At least that's the translation from old-school Kotakuer Brian Ashcraft who helped out on a recent Tweet from Platinum Games' Atsushi Inaba.

"In THQ studio and IP selling off auction, Darksiders is unsold? [We] wanna buy it...on the cheap..."

It certainly would seem like a good fit, and Platinum are known for their solid action titles, so having a US-based studio on the same page would likely have a pretty solid growth factor for the Japanese developer. Despite no one showing official interest in either Darksiders or Vigil at this stage of the THQ auction, it's suggested more will be revealed regarding the THQ "leftovers" by the weekend.

As long as someone does something with the talented Vigil team -- it'd be a shame to see them fall by the wayside of this end of an era.

(Thanks: Kotaku.)

I want to see this series continue too. I'm sad no one picked it up! Was really hoping WB got it, but alas...
