Developer Zenimax Online have been slowly breaking down the anti-MMO defences of Elder Scrolls fans that adore Bethesda Game Studios' single-player RPGs, but don't go for the MMO experience, and their latest developer diary style video continues that push.

In our latest ESO developer video, featuring Loremaster Lawrence Schick, we explore why the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact are at war in The Elder Scrolls Online. Watch the video to discover their reasons and motives for fighting, the key people and groups involved, and more.

The different motivations of the various factions paints an intriguing scenario as a foundation for the game's questing, and might just catch the attention of a few more purist Elder Scrolls holdouts. Check it out below.

The Elder Scrolls Online is due on PC, and Mac in 2013.
