![]() According to the team's Facebook page, the issue had nothing to do with the product design itself, but rather footage of game they had shown in their original pitch video without permission. The Kickstarter page is now back in action, with pledges having now passed US$300,000, well beyond the initial $100K goal. In more productive news, the PlayJam team has now also announced compatability with the Atlas bluetooth controller from Green Throttle Games --a startup fronted by Charles Huang, co-creator of Guitar Hero-- offering a more ergonomic "full analogue" option for players not keen on GameStick's blocky default pad. “Soon, games will be distinguished by the only two things that matter to 90% of game developers. One is screen size - phone vs tablet vs TV. The other is play mechanic - touch screen, game pad, camera, etc.” said Charles Huang, CEO of Green Throttle Games. “PlayJam is an innovator in gaming on TV through Smart TVs and their upcoming GameStick. When you add this to our analog Green Throttle Atlas controller, any Android game developer can now become a 'console' developer and bring their game to new audiences of TV gamers.”For more details on the pint-sized console, head over to Kickstarter.
