Ubisoft has today revealed that those eagerly awaiting the second DLC pack, The Battle Hardened, will be happy to know it is now available for download on Xbox 360, with other platforms to come later. The DLC will offer players an extended multiplayer experience, with new playable characters and maps.
The Battle Hardened pack extends the Assassin's Creed III multiplayer experience with new playable characters and maps:
  • Three multiplayer characters including the influential Governor, the resilient Highlander and the fearsome Coyote Man
  • Three multiplayer maps including Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre
  • The DLC marks the second pack to be included in Ubisofts five pack deal, which will also feature “The Tyranny of King Washington,” an all-new single-player campaign told through three episodic content packs that lets gamers experience an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution.

The Battle Hardened is available now on Xbox 360, and will also be available on January 10th on PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and January 15th on PC. All downloadable content will be available as well for the Wii U, however no date has been revealed yet.
