Dead Island: Riptide Screenshots Feature Some Disgusting Zombies

Deep Silver has revealed new screenshots for the upcoming sequel to original zombie title Dead Island, with a look at some of the quite decayed zombies shuffling their way through the former picture postcard idyll of Henderson, a city located on the island of Palanai.

The survivors (including new recruit John Morgan) finds themselves shipwrecked and stranded on this island in the Banoi archipelago.

A monsoon has recently laid waste to the Banoi archipelago partially flooding Henderson. The abandoned buildings and narrow passages offer plenty of opportunity for close combat and the tactical use of mines, new to Dead Island Riptide.

Dead Island: Riptide will be available for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 23rd, 2013.
