Funcom has today announced that the first raid experience for their modern-day MMO The Secret World is now available. The Manhattan Exclusion Zone will be the first raid made available to players, which puts them in the middle of a devastated Times Square where they must battle skyscraper-sized monsters and unlock new pieces of the puzzle that is ‘The Secret World’.

Our biggest update yet is just out. Issue #4 is filled to the brim with tons of fresh content and new and deeper game systems. You can enjoy a new Auxiliary Weapon – the Chainsaw, huge PvP enhancements, the Albion Theatre, Reticule Combat and a new set of Missions!

Issue #4 also sets the stage for the big Raid in New York, which is undergoing final testing and will be brought Live as soon as possible.

Funcom has also revealed a new Letter from the Game Director, which includes information regarding the next content update, Issue #5. Players can expect a new chainsaw auxiliary weapon, new missions, a new story arch centred around a new character and more.
