It's been a while since we've heard anything about Rainbow Six: Patriots, originally revealed last November with a concept trailer, with only a cinematic trailer since, but in a recent interview with Polygon, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot assures fans that the game is still in development.
"The only thing I can say is that we have a good team working on it, and it's really looking good," Ubisoft chairman and CEO Yves Guillemot told Polygon. "So when it will come, it will surprise the industry."

When asked if the game will be a next generation title, Guillemot said he couldn't confirm that but "there's a good chance it can be."
The game is reportedly still currently listed as in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Watch the cinematic trailer from last December's Spike VGA's below.
