Australian-based indie developer Organic Humans has sent word that the crowdfunding campaign for its ambitious first person horror game Montas has launched on schedule, with backers encouraged to pledge their support over on Indiegogo.
Montas is a first person exploration experience that focuses heavily on immersion, atmosphere, story and interactivity. The player is cast into a dark and mysterious world with little introduction, and must do what is necessary to survive on a twisted ride full of intrigue and drama.
There's not much new information about the game on the project page, but Organic Humans still plans for the Unreal Engine 3-powered title to support the much anticipated head-mounted Oculus Rift VR display.

Various backer tiers offer an assortment of merch, including an art book, stickers, shirts, bags, and skate decks, all of which the developer promises will be honoured whether the goal is reached or not.

Check out the pitch video below, and head over to Indiegogo, Steam Greenlight, or the game's official site for more details.
