![]() The report comes amidst recent bad luck with resignations, lawsuits, and a massive stock drop that has caused the business to previously let go of staff. In the report, Pincus claims that overall a 5% reduction of staff has been felt, including the shutdown of 13 older game titles. The report also details a reduction in investment to the title "The Ville". This is the most painful part of an overall cost reduction plan that also includes significant cuts in spending on data hosting, advertising and outside services, primarily contractors.Pincus also goes on to claim that Zynga are still going to be pushing forward in the social gaming industry, with discussion to take place next week on the vision of the company. The full report can be found over here, and hopefully those who have been affected are able to swiftly find new jobs.
