The game is almost upon us (October 31st on consoles), and while we gear up for the lengthy review play-session in the AusGamers office (with our designated reviewer gleefully rubbing his hands like we ought to turn him in to ASIO), I was given a chance to get roughly an hour with the game with no real direction, and walked away with a few components to pass on to you guys.

The main goal here, is to talk about a few of the stand-out components we're not used to in a series that has become staple in its systems, and these are things that, so far, certainly put Assassin's Creed III on a map towards AwesomeTown (north of PrettyMuchSameyTown).
