Hockey is as staple an American and Canadaian sport as Apple Pie and Maple Syrup are their, well, we don't know, we're Australian. But we do know they love their sports as much as those respective 'foodstuffs', so it's with pleasure we discovered they've crafted one of the most realistic videogame interpretations of Ice Hockey since the last NHL, an pretty much any other ice hockey game in existence.

We got our man on the ice, Naren Hooson, to check out just what kind of changes have been made to NHL 13, and whether the ice was just right for the latest edition to the sports series.

All the new features with the modes that are available really point out that this game is made for fans of hockey. Those who love the league, their team and their superstars and want to play as these and historical legends of the game.
