Ambitious indie mech multiplayer shooter, Hawken, will enter a closed beta from the 26th of this month, the team has revealed via the game's official forums.
This test will have a much larger tester pool than Alpha 2 and will include participants of our previous tests. Invitations will start to appear as early as this week and can be applied to your account by logging in to and clicking "Redeem Code". This will be the first of a series of Closed Beta tests, all of which will allow you to capture footage and screenshots and share them publicly. These Closed Beta tests will lead up to Open Beta on December 12, 2012.
If you've been missing out on getting into the game, you don't need to worry as they'll be dropping access codes via Twitter and Facebook, while anyone else who was in the last Alpha sessions will automatically be invited to the beta.

Check out the Hawken forums for more info. The game is due to release proper this December and is also one of the few games currently signed up to work with Uculous Rift.
