Indie developer Glitchsoft has partnered with Chillingo and Mattel to bring the world an officially licensed Masters of the Universe game on iOS devices, appropriately titled He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe.
As a labour of love and Saturday morning cartoon filled passion, GlitchSoft has spent the last several months designing and developing an action packed hack n’ slash brawler for mobile that is truly worthy of He-Man’s powerful reputation.

He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe is due out later this fall on iOS. The game recaptures the feeling of the classic 1980s Saturday morning cartoon and will excite existing fans as well as introduce newcomers to He-Man’s astonishing power.
The game's debut trailer can be viewed below, and in addition to being fabulous, promises to take place across seven regions of Eternia with 27 levels of action, and feature characters such as Orko, Man-at-Arms, Skeletor, Hordak, The Sorceress, Merman and Trap Jaw. Oh, and of course you get struck by lightning every day. By the power of Grayskull!

He-man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe is due on iOS devices before the end of Spring 2012 (Northern Fall).

This kind of game seems like it would be horrible on a touch screen.

Probably would be pretty good with that iControlPad controller and AirPlay through to a TV, still better just to have it on a console though.
