Telltale Games has today announced that the next episode in the thriller series The Walking Dead will be available on October 10th for Australian gamers, marking the fourth episode. Titled Around Every Corner, it will see players once again making difficult life choices while trying to survive the zombie outbreak.
‘Around Every Corner’ has been written by Gary Whitta, writer of The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington, as well as the upcoming Will Smith film, After Earth. The episode will be launching very soon this October on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC/MAC, followed shortly by the finale in Episode Five, ‘No Time Left.’ Each episode, together as a five part series, will also be launching at retail later this year.
The episode will be available on PC and Xbox 360 on October 10th, however no set date has been announced yet for PlayStation 3 though hopefully it will be the same day. You can check out the announcement trailer below, and also Episode 7 of Playing Dead which takes you behind the scenes with developer interviews. Spoiler warning as there are some major spoilers for those who have not yet completed Episode 3 of The Walking Dead.

I tried playing the first ep on PC and couldn't make myself finish it.

Extremely boring unskippable scenes, >80% of the time was spent speaking to characters I had absolutely no interest in. The action scenes seemed very forced and suffered from consolitis (i.e. repeatedly tap a key for the wins).

Does it get any better?

rav, did you play the second and third episodes upon release? I know that when the second episode was released, everyone that saved Doug over the Carly (That her name?) still had Carly alive in episode two and Doug dead. While the was the only major thing I can think of, there were lots of smaller things like invisible guns and what not.

On my playthrough when episode 3 was released there was nothing major.. but a few funny things like Duck being completely invisible at times, some objects vanishing, and some other weird things. I still really enjoy the game though.

Not to mention how completely off their expected release dates have been.
