For many of us that don't reside The United States, it's difficult to fathom the popularity of North America College football --the league of Gridiron football played between teams from rival universities in the US and Canada-- but the games regularly attract significant crowds, and the half-time entertainment shows can rival those of professional and international leagues of the most popular sports.

Ordinarily, this fact would be completely irrelevant to us gaming types across The Pacific --EA Sports' annual NCAA Football videogame series doesn't even get a local retail release here in Australia-- but spectators at a particular game on the weekend captured a rather impressive half-time show (thanks Nerfy).

The Ohio State University Marching Band jammed out a tribute to videogames, including nods to Mario Bros, Space Invaders, Halo, Zelda, and Pac Man, and if that doesn't sound terribly impressive, the show involves dozens of musicians marching in intricately choreographed patterns for over nine minutes.
