TaleWorlds Entertainment has today announced news that many eager medieval fans have long been waiting for, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. While details have been kept at a minimum, TaleWorlds claims that the new sandbox action-RPG will be bringing new mechanics and gameplay to the Mount & Blade setting that many have been battling in.

TaleWorlds Entertainment is proud to announce the next installment in the acclaimed Mount & Blade game series, entitled: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. This sandbox action-RPG strategy hybrid will take players on a journey into a fictional world of up-close and personal medieval combat on a huge scale, bigger, bloodier and more intense than ever before. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will build upon the popular Mount & Blade franchise bringing in many exciting and highly requested new features.

So far all we have is a simple logo and the very definition of a teaser trailer to show off which you can check out below, but hopefully in the next few months we'll have more to talk about the latest sequel in the Mount & Blade series.
