Details on Megaman creator and Capcom alum Keiji Inafune's recently teased Zombie game were revealed at an event hosted by Team Ninja in Tokyo last night. According to on site reports from Polygon, Inafune-san took to the stage with Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi to reveal Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, which is supposedly a collaboration between Inafune's Comcept studio, Team Ninja, and Lost Planet 3 developer Spark Unlimited.

Elaborating on the previous tease of zombies, ninjas, and robots, it was revealed that Ninja Gaiden's iconic swordsman Ryu Hyabusa will feature in the game, along with lead character Yaiba, who is apparently some kind of cyborg, with zombies thrown in for good measure.

We're not exactly sure how it all fits together, but the debut trailer is quite slick and appears to contain some snippets of very stylised ninja gameplay action, so check it out below, or here in our HD video library.
