With the recent release of the Prepare to Die Edition for PC players, many have finally been able to sate their eagerness for the brutal RPG that gave no mercy to those wanting a real challenge. The new edition of the once console-only title included a new piece of DLC, Artorias of the Abyss, that gave players hours of additional content including a new PVP mode allowing players to assemble battles against one another.

This new DLC will finally be available for those playing on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which will see a late October release as digital download only. The DLC will feature more challenges, more "you are dead" screens and more hellish creatures of the night.
Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss will include sprawling new maps and environments, new boss characters, enemies, non-player characters (NPCs), an arsenal of new weapons and armor and additional challenging content for unrelenting heroes to face as they return to the deadly world of Lordran. Darkness born in the forests of Oolacile is expanding and engulfing the kingdom and all of its people. Only the strongest players will be able to stop the encroaching darkness.

Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss will include an online match-making feature allowing console gamers to showcase their skills against other Dark Souls players around the world.
So if you feel like Dark Souls hasn't been much of a challenge, then look out for the new DLC on October 24th for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
