Obsidian Entertainment, the Orange County-based studio beloved for their RPG heritage, have launched a teaser page on their
official website, presumably building up to a new game announcement.
Featuring an Ouroboros symbol (the fantasy favourite depiction of a dragon eating its own tail) with the number four in the centre, the page features the cryptic text "What do the words mean? Nothing. The Dirge of Eír Glanfath is sound without form, a lone voice crying out in mourning because it must.", with a link leading to a forum that the developer has established especially for fans to speculate on what is only being referred to as "Project X".
Guesses have been pointing towards the long rumoured-licensed game based on the Wheel of Time franchise, but it's still far from confirmed.
Obsidian is currently working on the 2D RPG, South Park: The Stick of Truth with THQ, due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2013.

theres also some text in the source
"To tenderness, fellowship. To fellowship, vigilance. So bring we all to the Night Market. I am the Spindle of Esenath. Know me by my light and stand with me in darkness. "
I doubt its the wheel of time game - that was supposed to be an MMO and I can't see anyone developing an MMO in today's environment without creating a significantly different strategy to anything else out there. Maybe though, they might have retooled the game to fit a different genre, which seems sensible given that they've already bought the license.

Of course the whole elf style reference doesn't add much creed to that, but still they did a good job on Vegas.
