Following last week's reveal, the video that was shown to attendees of the Tokyo event, and more recently at PAX Prime 2012 in Seattle, has now been released for public viewing pleasure. The trailer purports to be all in-game, however in traditional Metal Gear style, the real-time cut-scene cinematics get more screen time that the actual stealthy gameplay.

Kojima Productions remains tight-lipped on specific details, but it is known that Hideo Kojima is directly involved in the game's development. The current demo is being described as current-gen console capable graphics, and next-gen console tinkering has also been mentioned, but no specific target platforms have yet been revealed.

Now that looks good. I've never really played any of the Games, although I did have the first one on PC....

Dear lord, i need to know who the disfigured man is, and what the plot is, and if it's big boss or snake. Too many questions!

It's pretty obvious that it's Big Boss, since characters from Peace Walker are involved (Paz and Chico).

Yeah, i'd say its most likely to do with the les infant terrible project which would a good set up for mgs5 dealing with the origins of snake.

Doesn't the fact that it has Xbox 360 and PS3 logos on the end of the video indicate it will be on those platforms though?

Looks bloody impressive !
