Project Giana, the Kickstarter project for Black Forest Games' hopeful rebirth of the classic Giana Sisters platformer

Proving that the game is as far into development as the Kickstarter project has promised, Black Forest Games has added a playable demo of their hopeful Project Giana, offering players a tangible look at the work in progress.

The demo serves as a preview of two levels from the game, the first reportedly an early level to introduce players to the game's concepts, and the second from a more challenging section from later in the game.

With only four days left on the clock, the funding drive is currently less than US$30,000 shy of its relatively modest US$150,000 goal, from over 4,200 backers.

You can now download the demo locally from AusGamers files (638MB), or head over to the Kickstarter page for more international download mirrors and details on the project.
