Blizzard has today released a new blog outlining their latest changes to the upcoming 1.0.4 patch for the hack and slash title, Diablo 3. While many are still on their way to face the wrath of Diablo, a fair few are awaiting the changes that the latest major patch will bring, and it seems Blizzard aren't holding back.

With changes to the co-op system to be more solo friendly, shrinking the gap between normal monsters and Elite packs, increasing base weapon damage and making legendaries more legendary, it seems this patch will fix a lot of problems that many have been vocally concerned about.

While no set day has been said for the new patch, Blizzard has suggested in the blog that the patch is "currently targeted for the fourth week of August". Check out the official blog for the full run down of 1.0.4 system changes, and make sure you keep an eye during the coming weeks for more in-depth previews of the patch.
