Paradox has today announced the latest title in their grand strategy genre, Europa Universalis IV, which will see players take control of more than 4000 historical monarchs.

Following on the success of the critically acclaimed "Crusader Kings II", Paradox Development Studio is ready to take you to worlds both old and new -- each yours for the taking.
The new title will see the series rebooted after a long absence since the last title, which was released in 2007. In an interview with
StrategyInformer, Paradox Development Studio Manager Johan Andersson has said that the game "had to feel right" and with the recent release of Crusader Kings 2, many elements have been borrowed to help push forward the new title.
