Team Ninja's upcoming fighting game sequel now has some certainty in it's Australian launch, with Aussie distributor Mindscape revealing today that they have secured distribution rights from Japanese publisher Tecmo-Koei, and that the game will find its way to Australian shelves on September 28th 2012.
Dead or Alive 5 invites players to once again take on the roles of the DOA fighters. Incorporating a variety of martial arts techniques, unique for each of its characters, the Dead or Alive 5 cast includes notables from the series’ history, as well select characters from the iconic fighting series Virtua Fighter™ (nominally Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant). This action-packed brawler is set in visually striking locations around the world in all-new 3D stages that dynamically change as the fight progresses.
DOA is significantly the first game in the franchise (best known for it's uhh.. jiggle animations) that has been developed without input from series creator Tomonobu Itagaki.

A Collector's Edition of the game will be available exclusively at EB Games, and in addition to the game disc, will also include a hardcover art book, CD soundtrack, a colour poster, and a metal case, as well as the obligatory swimsuit costume content -- rather discriminatingly, for only the game's female characters.

Is this a serious fighting game or just a collection of jiggling boobs?

Because if the latter then this series sure is a testament to the power of boobs.
