It's funny how popular some unboxing videos are, but then again, the higher price of collector's editions should almost demand that they be commonplace, so that at least anyone wanting to shell out the big bucks knows it's worth it.

The Assassin's Creed III Freedom Edition comes with some pretty cool stuff, two of which stand out, at least for me, in today's unboxing video. The first being the awesome Connor statue; something my current collection could do with, but more importantly second, is the George Washington's notebook, if only to see what the Ubisoft Montreal team do with such a potential-laden thing. Very tantalising indeed.

^ Advertisement. I'm kinda annoyed that they have different editions with different DLC. Going to wait a long time until it's all released in a GOTY edition down the track.

Meh, the series has only gone downhill since AC2. I bought ACBro and then ACRev and was severely disappointed, so I'll be skipping AC3.

The point is in the OP; it's an opportunity to see -- first-hand -- what will be in the Collector's Edition for anyone still not sure about committing to it.

Raven: that's a shame, because I honestly think this iteration will have the magic the last three games have lacked.

Have my Freedom edition already ordered.

Did you like AC2? AC3 is done by the same team that made that one while ACB and ACR was done by a second team.

AC3 is done by the same team

Not really, cos theres no more Patrice Desilets and he was the main guy behind AC1 and AC2

Oh great, you have to pay extra to get the whole game. Thanks Ubisoft.
