We knew that High Moon Studios, Activision and Marvel were going to announce a new videogame set in the Marvel universe at this year's Comic-Con, and thankfully they didn't surprise too many of us who either cleverly guessed, or ferociously hoped, it would be a Deadpool game.

They did try and throw us off the scent with a few hints that it may, in fact, be a game based on the 2010 digital comic book series, Hit-Monkey, but overnight the loudmouth assassin was officially unveiled in spectacular video form, potentially bringing a Marvel character into the videogame world in the way he should be.
